GDPR Rights and Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your GemWorld account and exercise your rights regarding your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Account Deletion
Users can request the deletion of their GemWorld account at any time.
The request can be made either:
- via the dedicated section in the account settings
- by contacting support at the following address: support@gemworld-thegame.com
Once the request is validated, the account is deactivated and then deleted as soon as possible.
2. Effects of Account Deletion
Deleting your account results in:
- Immediate deactivation of access to the Service
- Deletion or anonymisation of unnecessary personal data
- Permanent loss any in-app purchases
- Deletion of virtual items and game progress
Account deletion is irreversible.
3. Data Retention
Certain data may be retained for a limited period in order to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Resolve potential disputes
- Ensure platform security
Technical logs and security data may be retained for a maximum of 12 months.
