A serpentine, dragon-like beast with translucent wings that shimmer with the colours of the Northern Lights
Bogshade
A dark, slow-moving creature that resembles a clump of floating moss until disturbed. Dispite their appearance, they're quite friendly, though they prefer to keep their own company
Brambletail
A small long-spiked creature covered in mossy, berry-laden brambles, which fall off as it scurries through the undergrowth. I wonder what the berries taste like...
Cactifern
A slow-moving lizard covered in spines. It's able to store water in its hollow body and has been known to save explorers in dire needs
Driftmane
A hardy, thick-furred beast with a mane that flutters like mist in the icy winds. To see one is taken as a sign of good luck
Drowned Guardian
A towering creature covered in hanging vines. It's rumoured to have once been a protector of an ancient lost city and now spends it time forever searching
Dunestalker
A sleek, sand-coloured snake. The ridges along its back help it glide effortlessly through dunes as it hunts interesting vibrations in the sand
Fenback Beast
A massive, moss-covered beast with powerful legs. It wades through deep waters, hunting at dusk. It has an extremely long life
Frostpaw
A small, white-furred creature that blends in perfectly with the snow. Only its shimmering eyes reveal its presence
Glacier Fang
A large, wolf-like predator with long, frost-covered fangs that sparkle at night. Hopefully you'll see that sparkle before the Glacier Fang sees you!
Glade Hopper
A nimble, rabbit-like being with long ears that twitch at the slightest rustle. They're mischievous creatures, so watch your belongings when they're around!
Meadowflit
A deer-like being with gossamer wings that it only unfolds when running at full speed. It spooks easily
Mirage Runner
A golden antelope that appears as a mirage, and vanishes just as quickly as you approach. To see one up close is truly a marvel
Prairiepouncer
A small, fox-like creature with oversized paws that help it leap through tall grasses. It's always in a playful mood
Reedscuttle
A tiny, hopping creature with webbed feet and a chirping call that echoes across marshes. Some people report seeing things hours after handling one
Sandwhisker
A small, fennic-like creature with oversized ears that it uses to detect vibrations in the sand. Generally friendly, but hates loud noises
Skyborne Stag
A magnificent stag with curling, cloud-like horns, said to guide lost travelers across the plains. Some say it's descended from celestial deer
Snowstride Guardian
A majestic, caribou-like being with ice-covered antlers. Its breath forms delicate frost-patterns in the air. It's said that anything touching its antlers immediately freezes
Stormcaller Behemoth
A towering beast with wind-swept horns, it travels the very hearts of the deserts, summoning rare desert rains in its wake
Stormhoof
A powerful, horse-like creature with glowing hooves that strike sparks each time it paws the ground. The hooves grow brighter the angrier it gets
Treetop Gazer
A small, owl-like creature with golden eyes that reflect the light of the moon. They are utterly silent and have spooked many a late-night traveller!
Tusked Grazer
A great, sturdy boar-like beast. It uses its curved tusks to dig up roots. It's a good idea to keep your distance!
Verdant Titan
A massive, slow-moving entity covered in thick bark and leaves, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the forest canopy. It protects the deep forest, though what it protects, no-one has been been able to find out
Will-o-tail
A long, ribbon-like amphibian with glowing spots along its spine, which leave trails of light in the water. Some zoologists speculate that they use the trails to hunt, attracting prey into a trap
