The Stormhoof is a creature of raw energy and barely restrained force, a powerful, horse-like being that carries the feeling of an approaching storm wherever it goes. Even at rest, there is a tension in its stance, as though it is constantly on the verge of motion.

Its most striking feature is, without question, its hooves. Each step produces a faint glow, and when it paws at the ground, sparks scatter across the grassland in brief, flickering bursts. These sparks rarely ignite anything, but they leave behind scorched marks that serve as a clear warning of the creature's presence.

The Stormhoof's temperament is volatile. While not inherently aggressive, it is easily provoked. Sudden movements, loud noises, or perceived threats can cause its agitation to build rapidly. As this happens, the glow of its hooves intensifies, shifting from a soft ember-like light to something far brighter and more dangerous.

In heightened states of anger, the Stormhoof becomes a formidable force. Its movements grow faster, more erratic, and each strike of its hooves sends out sharper, more energetic bursts of sparks. Few creatures are willing to challenge it in this state, and even experienced travellers know to give it a wide berth.

Despite this, the Stormhoof is not without its calmer moments. When undisturbed, it can be seen grazing or moving steadily across the plains, its glow dimmed to a gentle pulse. In these moments, it appears almost peaceful - though the underlying power is never truly absent.

Respect is key when encountering a Stormhoof. Keep your distance, avoid startling it, and do not attempt to interfere with its path. This is not a creature to be tested lightly, and those who ignore the warning signs often learn that lesson the hard way.
